We go back to Waingapu to try to open an Indonesian bank account to facilitate our various approaches to the resort.
We arrive at the bank at 4pm. On the door, a small "closed" sign is displayed. Oh no !!
People still seem to be inside. The door is pushed open.
At the reception, Youri explains our request. For English it is not won but Anggun at the reception tries to communicate with us. (We really need to perfect our Indonesian!) She photocopies our passport. An appointment with the manager is scheduled for next Tuesday.
At the moment of leaving, Anggun warns us that the director has returned, he will receive us.
A little later 2 people go downstairs. They settle down with us in the hall, we begin to discuss our need, our project. Our discussion is not entirely audible by all, as our languages are not entirely agreed. Finally the manager arrives. Youri again explains our request.
The manager asks us where we live in Sumba now and if we know an Indonesian. Again Sony will help us by pledging for us.
Finally, after 1h30 at the bank: we have an Indonesian account with a master card!
Job's done!
